I have a new windows 8 pc. If I had known how the 8 is I would never have bought it. Do they make a Pinnacle Studio DVD maker that works on a windows 8?

I can understand your desire to use software, which which you are accustomed, but, of course, there are many alternatives which will run without patching. Windows 8 actually has a built in DVD burner,
