i have hp computer working on windows millenium i recently had a liteon dvd rewriter installed ,but i am have problems when copying discs --- system gets to 85/86% copied then comes up with error message--error writing disc and will eject blank disc.
i have over 5gb of hard disc space spare ,128 memory
liteon rewriter
8x dvd+r
4x dvd-r/+rw
2x dvd-rw
40x cd-r
24x cd-rw

First, update the driver.

Second of all, updae your CD burning software.

Third, make sure you have quality disks... sometimes those free or REALLY cheap no name brand CD's can't hold as much space as they say. Also, make sure you haven't used that CD yet.

I believe whats happening is your trying to copy a 4.7gig DVD or more on your recorder right? If your running win me, then you can't support that large a file, you'll need to upgrade your OS and format a drive for NTFS in order to support the large file size used for the temp image...
