Drivers/Updates Question

I have a laptop - Dell Inspiron 2590 with Windows XP. I went to Dell- Support online to check if there were any updates to drivers, bios, modem drivers, etc. They listed about 11 of them - but how can I scan my computer to see what I have installed? Is there an easy way for a site to scan my computer and tell me what is installed and the version. I don't want to download something that does not pertain to me.

If you click on Start>Help and Support Center>Computer Information, Then the following links,Detailed Computer Information, and System Configuration of you Dell. Between those three you should get the information you will need.
