I have an ATI Radeon 9250 and when I download the latest driver for it a window pops up saying "Setup will only run in Administrator Mode." then it stops the installation. I am have tried it in administrator mode with all priveleges and the message still comes. Please help.

Just want to be sure. You logged into windows as administrator?

You uninstalled old drivers first?

I didn't uninstall old ones. How do I?

Start-> Control Panel-> Add/Remove programs Uninstall existing ATI drivers

Reboot. Click cancel when it say's 'found new hardware'.

Install new drivers and reboot.

It didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion though. The window still pops up.

Make sure you are using the correct driver. The ATI site is leading users to a driver that does not support the Radeon 9250 or older cards. The driver version you need is 6.5, is was the last version to support the Radeon 9250 and older.
