I have an HP Pavilion 7960, and I was doing a memory upgrade which forced me to remove the drive cage of my computer containing my HD and floppy drive. It's the kind that you have to push a tab and then rotate the cage out to remove it. All went well, but when I tried to put the cage back in, it became stuck. I tried to take it out, but it was so stuck in there that it wouldn't even budge.

How can I get this thing out without damaging my computer??

Are there any cables stuck between the drive cage and where it clips in? If it's not latched it should swing back out easily enough

Rockn....I know this is an old thread, but rather than start a new one I'll quickly ask you this one question: ( I also want to install two new memory cards into my HP computer and looked at the video showing how to unhook and move the drive cage. ) My question is this, Does the drive cage click back into place, or slide back into place. I couldn't tell that from the video.
