dram vs sdram, silly question

Hi, I realize this is a stupid question, but I guess that will make it easy to answer. I'm looking at a lite on cdrw/dvd rom drive. The specs say it requires 64 megs dram. I have 319 megs of sdram. Will the drive work for me? I don't want to order it to only have to send it back. (I want the dvd rom so the kids can play the included games on dvd movies)
