How can I get rid of this nothing picks it up (norton, AVG, adaware, pest patrol, micro trend) but when I shut down AVG resident shield says it's in system volume/-restore

I can't restore to a previous day because of this. Do I need to disable system restore? Is there any other way to get rid of it.

Turn off system restore by following instructions here

That will purge the restore folder and clear any malware that has been put in there. Then reboot & then re-enable sytem restore & create a new restore point.
