I was infected with the sobig worm yesterday. Thanks to the expertise of Steve, I am clean again. My question is whether the worm sent out my personal data (logins, passwords, SSN #, address book, etc.) before it was killed. This morning I had the following email in my inbox. This makes me very uncomfortable. If they did steal my data, what do I do?

concerns mostly the spoofing of your email address- read the info, it explains why you are getting the bounced email notifications...

After reading your info it appears to me that the worm did not send out my personal infomation (logins, passwords, address book, etc.) but rather just tried to get more people involved by sending emails from me to them. Since none of my friends have received anything, I assume that my Norton would not allow the worm to send anything out. Thanks for the information.
