Ed Greene, made what I consider to be an anti-semitic claim in this forum. Not one person called him out on it. The claim is as follows: The Jews have somehow closed down business on the East Coast of the United States during the Sabbath, and the government has allowed this to happen. I have asked him on several occasions to either admit he is a virulent anti-semite or to apologize, or to give us the data to prove his point. I would hope that most of the decent people, no matter what their political affiliation is, demand the same. It is this kind of bizzare, unsubstantiated claim, and its acceptance by the general population, that has led to the sufferring of many.
Greene plays the humanist but I suspect that he is no better then those who claim that the Protocols of Zion are factual. So typical.
Sure Stoner---this was in the thread on I'm Sick of Religion--fairly recent.
Not picking on Jews, but they do any damn thing they want, including tying up much of the commerce of the Eastern Seaboard from sundown Fridays to sundown Saturdays.
I have to go watch Bush on the boob tube shortly, so It'll be a while before I get back
That is an odd comment from Ed.
In Ohio, we used to have the 'Blue Laws' that prohibited commerce on a sunday, but that was at the insistance of the early Christian influence. They have been over turned for some time now.
My mistake, Bush isn't on till 8:30 ESDT
Saw this by EdGreene:

I have no idea what he's talking about. I've been on the east coast many times visiting my sister in NJ and Delaware.Cousin in Mass. Never noticed anything like that
In all fairness, I think Ed dislikes all religions. I could be wrong, if so I 'm sure Ed will correct it..............
I am going to close this thread as it appears to be inviting a personal confrontation rather than addressing any topic of debate.
