My virus scanner discovered a trojan horse in a dlm.exe file - which is was unable to fix or quarantine. I also keep getting a window pop-up which is looking for a dtm.html web page. When it fails it launches my home page despite me not selecting my explorer application. Any ideas?

yes that is spyware. Run Spybot S&D, Lavasoft AD-Aware and CWShredder. Once you have updated them via their respective programs update section, run HighJackThis. When you scan the machine, DONT fix anyting yet. Save the log, which will then in turn reappear in Wordpad, and then copy and paste the log here. I/We will help you weed out the DLM.EXE file for you.
