I just got a new computer and my Microsoft Word (from Microsoft Works 2000) worked just fine on the other "old" computer, so I don't understand why it's giving me such a hard time now!

It was missing a dll file (wkwinuni.dll) so I found it on the internet and downloaded it. Well, at least unzipped anyway.

However, it wants me to chose a program to open the file? I've tried all the programs in my list to open it and none of them support the file - I've searched on the internet for a program that supports dll files but I've come up empty handed. Am I looking in all the wrong places?

On my travels, I've come across another forum where someone was rambling about placing it in a "system" file? I don't understand.

I just want to open my file so I can finally open my word processor! Any help with this will be wonderfully appreciated! :) Thanks so much!
