display prob

when i installed my driver i couldnt change color and res. but now thats not the prob. i reinstall it and when i reboot the pc for finalizatino it give me a error message or it will reset itself when its almost done loading windows. how can i get this fregen thing to work:mad: :mad: :mad:

It sounds like you installed the wrong drivers. Have you tried going into Safe Mode Video to Standard VGA. Then try again? You can access Safe Mode by depressing and hold down the Ctrl key after the hardware list is deplayed.

but the driver came w/ my card.
and what do you mean about safe mode standard vga ??:confused: ???

Go to start/settings/control panel/display/settings tab/advanced/adapter/select the change button, follow the prompts until you see the check box for show compatible, this will give you a list in the left hand column. Scroll all the way to the top, select standard vga, hit okay, follow prompts, reboot. You will reboot with standard vga drivers and it will look terrible.
Now reinstall your drivers
