I was wondering when I use the internal disk clean system and there are several boxes checked like the recycle bin and etc.. I was wondering if I checked the compressed file box with all those compressed files in there would I loose any thing or harm my computer if I choose to delete them out.

It's unclear what would be there. They may be "zip" files or older files that you have allowed Windows to store in compressed form.

They should be displayed in a different color, if present. See:
