I have an issue with my desktop.

Things seemed to be running fine running windows xp pro but recently:

- The system which does not contain a floppy drive discovered that it had one and started to display it in My Computer properties. I have unistalled it from hardware manager but still no luck - it keeps reappearing.

Any suggestions ?

Make sure it's not active in the BIOS...could be that.
