You would need a legacy HD to miss 4k of space. I take it you have told ScanDisk to fix the bad sector with no success. Unless there is something there that is essential just ignore it. Scandisc will notify the computer to ignore it. It will show up as a white block during the defrag with details to show the computer is not using it.
