Hello,

Does anyone know whether there's a way to disable HTML-coded mails from accessing the internet in Outlook Express? I occasionally open a message from a spammer that's contains HTML, and I realize it's an easy matter to set a web bug in the message that would track whether I opened the mail or not.

Note: I am not concerned with the SENDing of messages, but rather the READING of messages. I'd prefer to have them display formatted, but NOT be allowed to access the internet, but would settle for viewing the raw HTML.

This seems like an easy feature to implement. If it's not there, any ideas as to why?

TIA...

Thanks, Max, but that dll won't work with Outlook Express, which is what I'm using. They made it sound like I might as well live with it or switch e-mail clients.

From the site:
>Thanks to the folks at NTBugtraq for creating NoHTML v1.2.0.0, a small dll file converts HTML to RTF (Rich Text Format) in Outlook. Outlook Express users are out of luck. Sorry.

Thanks anyway!
