I think he means the other "directory", as in a place information is stored and organised . But yes, that is a "directory" in the other sense.

There's 2 types of directories.

1. Link farm ones. - These are bad, they might have pagearnk 7 on the index but there's so many links and in the niche categories they are probably only pagerank 3.
2. Info directory. - No links just info from a database.
