Hi,

I have a weird problem, sometimes my desktop 'locks up'. I can right-click everywhere, but when I click once on an icon, I can't see it selected. However, when I click twice, it opens the shortcut just fine. I can't right-click on an icon, when I try to, I get the same context menu as if I clicked on desktop itself. Also, when I have for example an .exe file and want to run it, the usual system message pops out ('Do you really want to run...') but i can't click on either of the options 'yes' or 'no', neither clicking on the red 'x' works, so the message just hangs there.

The only solution I found is restart explorer.exe in the task manager. Then it works fine.

Here are my computer specs:
Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3
BIOS Ver: 08.00.15
AMD Phenom™ 9650 Quad-Core Processor, MMX, 3DNow (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
3328MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
HDD space available: 321 GB

Any help appreciated!
