Every time I start up XP my desktop icons individually refresh from the standard icon to the correct one. I used to get 2 copies of desktop.ini poping up in a notpad window untill I deleted them from all the startup menus. While searching for the files I found 194 separate copies of
desktop.ini. Is this normal and is desktop.ini connected to
my desktop icon refresh problem?

I've got NAV2002 and its up to date so I guess a virus is unlikely.
