When I turn on my laptop it resets all its information such as my wallpaper, deletes all my files logs me out of my emails and google chrome, deletes all apps such as Spotify, and does not open pre-installed apps such as email. When I do click on the email icon or any other icon a small bar shows up under the icon within its tile as if it is downloading but then it disappears. Sometimes when I go to sign in (my sign in is never forgotten) the lock screen I had set shows up and sometimes Spotify is not deleted however everything else does not work. I have no idea how to fix this, I don't run heavy soft wear and ever since this has begun to happen my security system keeps being deleted. I've had this computer for about a year not that this has only been occurring within the past month and a half.

I've tried:
restarting the laptop
making sure its updated

Have you installed any software or drivers recently?

If so you migh be able to revert changes by doing a system restore.
I have not experienced this under Windows 10 but in all previous NT OS'...

Sometimes a NT Profile becomes corrupt and the OS can't load HKCU so the OS loads a TEMPorary profile. As such it does not load what the end user knows to be their desktop, etc. It may be perceived that their data was deleted, etc.

Perhaps this is the case. The Profile is corrupt and the OS has loaded a TEMP Profile.
