Dell Dimension 3000 won't turn on

My dell dimension 3000 won't turn on, when i try to, it doesn't make any sounds and just blinks a yellow light where the green light should be.

I put it into storage for a while, and when i went to use it a couple months ago, it showed a screen that said i needed to call a number, but it turned off too quickly. I put it back into storage after trying everything i could think of and just used other computers. Now i don't even get that screen anymore, just the flashing light. What can i do?

Take the machine into a local repair facility and have them test the power supply unless you have a power supply tester.

Also, have them "jump" a known good power supply to the motherboard to verify the board is good. Both tests should take less than 30 minutes and the cost should be minimal.

Remember that Dell's of this type have diagnostic lights on the back - obviously, when the machine is working correctly, all four will be lit green. When there's something wrong, they will show a light code (on, off, yellow, blinking, etc.) Are they doing anything?
