No nor does the keyboard seem ti be working a
When you wiggle the mouse does the light come on the bottom?
Then you have to power it down with the power button. Then unplug it and hit the power button again, then plug back up and try to restart.
Done that how long does it need to be unplugged

Looking for a little bit of clarification to determine how to proceed.
Is this happening after the system goes into sleep/hibernation mode, or did the monitor not show any graphics after the reboot performed above?

It went into sleep mode and i googled how to get it off and it was something like ctrl insert f1 and then it went to power save modeHello Michelle,

Understood. Assuming that your PC is functioning correctly otherwise, all you should need to do is adjust the Power Option settings.
In Windows 10, you can access these by doing the following.

- Right Click on your Windows Icon (normally in the bottom left hand corner on your desktop)
- Click on Power Options
- Click on Power and Sleep
- Configure the settings to your liking (mine are set to Never; because, I manually turn my system off, or put it into sleep mode when not in use)

I installed new updates and the computer was supposed to restart when it did it we t to sleep mode and now is power save mode and i cant get it out of it it seems like my mouse and keyboard is not working what do i do
what version of windows do you have? will it boot in "safe mode"?

If your computer savvy enough,shut the computer down.unplug everything including the keyboard,mouse,monitor,usb deivces,everything in the back.
Open up the tower,find the cmos battery and pop it out.Leave it out for 30 seconds to a minute.
After pulling the cmos battery,check for a jumper close by.It's usually either a button or a 3 pin type module/plug.(its pretty small)
either hold the button or remove the modele/pin from the prongs for 30 seconds.replace the jumper,or let off the jumper button.Then replace the cmos battery (a round circled flat battery) that is clipped to the motherboard about the size of a quarter.close up the tower,hook everything back up and reboot.
That should work.
If there is no jumper,just take out the cmos battery for the 30 sec. to a minute,then replace.
Put it back together and power up.
