It may seem to be freezing, but usually a PC is just working on deleting years worth of files. You might want to wait it out. I work on alot of computers, and delete temp files on a regular basis. I have seen computers take as much as 40 minutes to delete all the temp files. Your pc will usually not let you do anything else until this task is complete.
