This is about all you can do unless you know what card you have in now and they have an uninstaller

Go to start/settings/control panel/display/settings tab/advanced/adapter/select the change button, follow the prompts until you see the check box for show compatible, this will give you a list in the left hand column. Scroll all the way to the top, select standard vga, hit okay, follow prompts, reboot. You will reboot with standard vga drivers and it will look terrible.
Now shutdown and install your new card
