I have windows XP home version and when I delete photo files from "my documents"they do not delete, but make a copy. My documents is getting overloaded and I can't clear it out. Any help out there?

are you trying to delete them from the recently viewed list in start > my documents, or from windows explorer in c:\documents and settings\ownername\my documents? If the former, right click on the task bar > properties > start menu tab > (if using standard xp) customize > advanced > clear list button on the bottom, (if using classic view) > customize > clear button in middle.

If you are trying to delete them from the latter, and they are copying, what happens when you click on one and hit the delete key? May need to be a bit more clear.
