Default directory for Notepad

Note sure how to do it without using a notepad replacement. (that doesn't mean it cannot be done)

but..

You could provide a shortcut to the folder, then they could just right-click on the file and EDIT with notepad. Or Open With - Notepad. If the option to Open With or edit is not there for the filetype, you can edit the registry to add it.

Or you can make a shortuct that opens the file in notepad.

the shortcut's path would be

%windir%\notepad.exe path to file

you could have a shortcut to each of the commonly edited files and put the shortcuts in a Commonly Edited Files folder and they can access them that way.

There's a bunch of other ways to do it too.
