dc2200 digital camera

I got the camera from my family it worked on their computer but it does not work on mine. When I went to the scanner camera thing it does not have the argus dc2200 camera listed in the options for cameras that you can install . Does anyone know where I can go to download it. I already went to arguscamera.com or something like that and they had a zip file and that would not work either please help me

did you get the software/drivers CD that go with it...if not then you will need the zip file with the driver...

you will need to install the drivers from one of the two before the camera will work

yeah i already went to that site and it still does not work i run the files then it tells me to restart my computer then after that nothing happens. IT still wont read my camera at all. and my family said it did not come with a driver disk.

i have no idea at first my computer said that there was new hardware on my computer and i tried to install it but it would not work. do you have a disk that i can dowload or something

looking at the manual ...also available from that link...you may need to have the Arcsoft software installed as well before the camera will work

maybe if you contact them with an email they can supply you with a new installation disk if your family can't find the original

do the drivers install and the camera is just not recognized or do the drivers not install...

if the drivers install you may be able to see the camera using another image program

Why would I have it ...I don't have that camera ...your family may not be able to find it but it most certainly came with a install disk originally

You need to focus on getting the drivers to install first

There must have been a CD that came with the camera, it would have had any drivers needed, plus a photo program for you to use to view them, assuming you have found the zip file with the drivers, you still need a program to view them... http://www.arcsoft.com/en/products/photoimpression/ ...here is the arcsoft program you will need, but as it's $50 , I'd ask the folks to look one more time for any disc that came with the camera...Rhett
