so i have Mcafee anti viras i called them and the say they donot suport anti vermis crap. so far i have:

1 run freedom anti spy
2 unistall freedom
3 install and run mcafee in safe and regular modes
4 installed spy hunter this gave me a list
5 i whent in to my directory and c:\ and hand deletead all files
6 i still have the antivermis popup in my syystem bar
7 ran spyhunter and mcafee and neather is telling me that i have a problem But the pop up is still there
8 once i found this sight i down loaded the silent runner and smitfraudfix but i do not know where to get the note pad report ti post here

by the way i did deleate every thing that spy hunter told me to but i also backed up my direactory so if i deleated any thing vital i cal put it back on.

I've merged all of your posts into this one thread so please reply here.

Make sure you save the file to a permanent folder and post a log.

To create a permanent folder click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar click on File, New, Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ folder.
Put your HijackThis.exe into that folder.

Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
