Hi!:

For some freaky reason my computer, or system, randomly slows down whenever it sees fit. The system works, but at a snails pace and we don't know why. what could be causing this?

Also, our computer is supposed to have 256mb of RAM, but only sees 80mb... how could we get it to reconize the entire 256?

Basics of the System:
Windows ME
256mb RAM (only sees 80MB)
Optical Microsoft Mouse

If any more is needed, will post if needed.

Thanks.

You either have a bad stick of RAM, or else one of the RAM modules is not fully seated in its slot.

How many RAM slots are present and how many RAM modules are installed?

Does your computer have a separate video card or does it have on-board video which uses shared memory?

What is the brand name, model name, and model number of your computer?
