Did some searching on this ctfmon.exe that I find in my "startup" list with MSCONFIG. Know it is normally something to do with Microsoft Office. I never use Office so I unchecked ctfmon.exe in Startup, but somehow it always puts itself back into Startup with its box checked.

Anyone ever deal with this?

Just checked in Task Manager and ctfmon.exe was a running process. I "ended" it as I've done before but later it will be there running again. (Not sure if it will stay off until next re-booting or if it will restart sooner.) Have never had any problems or symptoms after ending this process, but it always puts itself back on.

Just leave it alone. It is for alt user input ie speech recognition. It does no harm.
