Chrome was in an endless loop until I selected the "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs" box in the pop-up.

The page displayed a decent representation of a Microsoft error page "Windows Has Been Blocked Due To Suspicious Activity!" "Call Microsoft at +1-866-681-0231"

Also an audio track repeated the dire warning.

A give-away is the "Authentication Required" dialog box asking for username and password to http://user-control.com

Not sure how I ended up on the web page (crasddata-error-spyattacktor.xyz).
