Well for those of you that play cs I wanna hear from only good players I have trouble badly on cs if it comes to say any close range map. I have trouble killing enemies that are not far away at long range I have no problem at close range I always die even when they appear by me and I start shooting toward them I miss, or say on de_dust 2 by the b bomb site right ahead of the ct spawn without the hole in the wall if you know what one I mean say im a ct I will start going toward the area sometimes aim for neck and fire a few shots I have not much of a prob with that but say if they are coming at me and I start circle strafing and shooting them I always seem to miss, and die or never hit them in close encounters I need help to beat the enemie I do have dial up when I get rid of that crap that might help me cause I always thought it was the lag that happens when the bullets won't register that would keep me from killing him I really need some good tips. Also I see people that master the ak where then can fire auto almost and get a hs like what is the best way to practice shooting it I tried shooting it then aiming down and a bit left, and towards the right didnt' help I'm better off aiming at their neck and firing 2 shots, but as I said in close range combat I always fail I don't know why plz help me

Your first and biggest problem is dialup, believe me.
As for actually playing, I suggest you watch some demos of the professionals playing. They are avialable on the net from all sorts of leading teams like 3D. If you watch some of them, you'll see where it is best to aim, how to move, and basicly everything else. Aside from that, practice, practice, practice. You might want to download a bot program and make your own room. The good ones allow you to disarm the bots, so they'll just run around. You can take your time that way and see what works. A lot of it is just training where to aim, how to fight recoil, and where to move.
I used to be very good with the ak at close range. The only tip I can really give about spraying it, is to aim low, REAL low. I'd suggest about crotch-foot, depending on how far away you are.
Although spraying is really never the right thing to do, best to stick with your neck shots. Master that, and spray on the off chance it doesn't work out.

Well if you are strafing around someone too the left you want to aim your crosshair a little to the right or opposite if strafing right. The recoil changes when your moving. Also I wouldn't recommend running forward while spraying. Umm... prefiring helps a hell of a lot too. Lets say you hear someone and you know that they are just around the corner, start spraying before you turn the corner in their direction since you can shoot them through the corner and you won't have to worry about their reaction timing being quicker than your own.
But yeah, watching demos would help too... well scrim/match wise.
