I am using windows 98 and after booting I get a message that reads:
"couldn't launch C:\Program~\NETROPA\Onscre~1\OSD>EXE. After that I get another that says "No valid keymaps found". How do I fix these problems? Thanks, Brooke

Netropa has to do with HP and other brands of keyboard software. OSD is the acronym for On-Screen Display. This does not need to be running in the background.

Click Start - Run, type in MSCONFIG, then click OK - Startup(tab). Uncheck the osd.exe command, click Apply - OK, then reboot.
