cordless mouse logitech

Does anyone know how to check the battery of the cordless mouse logitech? And I know how to check it in the program but not Windows.

Also does the battery have to be dead before you charge it ?:eek:

dont quite understand - if you open the logitec mouse app - it will tell you the state of batts
why not use it
