Boot disk for printer?

How about some real information about the exact equipment involved, the version of Windows, what printer, and exactly what you're trying to do?

I'm running windows xp and am trying to hook up my net book to a wireless hp printer. since the net book does not have a disk drive I copyed the start up disk to a thumb drive and then to the net book, but I can't get the file to start up.

You may not have gotten everything from the CD. If you have net access on the netbook go to HP's website and download the drivers from there directly onto the hd. That's what I did, and it worked out fine for me. I'm typing this on my netbook, and can print from anywhere in the house.
