I am trying to find a way to convert mainframe EBCDIC data to a Adobe Acrobat PDF format. I need to maintain the page formatting, i.e. - top of form, etc. I can convert the data to ASCII but then I lose the formatting. Any ideas?

Hiya

I have had a search about and found that PDFlib not only compiles on the AS/400, but has been engineered to work
on EBCDIC-based systems while producing PDF output (which is ASCII based).

Its not cheap, mind http://www.pdflib.com/pdflib/business.html

Now, as you can get ASCII, there is a program that is shareware, and it converts it to pdf's. Its got a lot of reading at their site, but it may work.

and to download it, look here:
