Content in Chrome browser's address bar becomes invisible

Hi guys,
I am currently using Windows 7 for my PC. Content in my Google Chrome browser 's address bar suddenly becomes invisible today. Text in the address bar is not showing. After re-installation, the problem remains the same. Text for settings is not showing as well. When I was going to delete my Google Chrome, I discovered the installation date was a few days ago. However, I have installed Google Chrome for a few years. I am not sure whether Google Chrome re-installed itself automatically and led to the problem mentioned above.

The above picture is showing my current situation. I found this picture in the Google community. That user is also encountering the same problem as mine. I couldn't find any solution on the Internet regarding my problem. Please help. Thanks very much, guys!
I have sent feedback regarding this problem to Google. I am not sure whether Google would respond to me. That's why I seek help here. A big thanks to you all again. Hope to receive your reply.

I don't use Chrome so I can only search for your issue and see if someone posted a possible fix.
Go here and try steps 2, 3 4 and 5.
Do one item then close chrome and see if it worked. If not, try the next item, close chrome and restart.

Thank goodness I use ditto which saves 50 items. I just had to go through my saved items until I stumbled across it.
