Connect jetpack to computer with ethernet

PLEASE HELP! I work from home and my connection has been one problem after another since I started. I live out in the middle of nowhere and was only able to get satellite internet. The connection was OK at first but was short lived. Reached the data cap quickly so no more taking calls after 2 weeks. I do have a verizon orbic jetpack that I was able to hook up through wifi which worked great for a week then slowed down dramatically so again no more taking calls. I know it has something to do with the vpn which is Pulse Secure. How can I connect my orbic jetpack to my computer using ethernet? I got an adapter but I can't get it connected. I have to have a hardwired connection as soon as possible and the hotspot is my only option at the moment. Unless anyone has any suggestions for internet provider that doesn't charge $200 a month for very little. Thanx in advance.

I seriously doubt it's Pulse causing this issue nor would you get better performance hard wiring your PC to your cellular Internet. If you are getting good performance initially and then over time it drops off, I'm more apt to believe you're hitting some data cap which is causing a throttle down of your service performance. I don't know what plan you have and if indeed you're hitting some cap. You can check this by logging into your account to view your usage or call Verizon support.

If you really want to try a hard wire connection with your Verizon service, you can get a Cradlepoint router and install the SIM card in your Jetpack into the Cradlepoint.
Shauna, there has been a common theme, which is that your speeds get slowed down after a while. You need a plan that is a) unlimited and b) does not slow down after your usage, but generally Satellite and some cellular companies will not have that. Regardless if you are on Ethernet or Wireless, it will all depend on the internet service you are connected to. If you are taking video calls or meetings, then that will certainly use your data as video uses the most data. If you are doing this, consider doing audio/phone calls only. If there is a way to have a company phone number and forwarded to your cell, then that should help as that would not use data.
