I got myself a DSL router from WESTELL company, called Wind River, model number A90.
I used it as normal modem now, but I kinda want to get more out of it... anyway I have problems connecting to it, tried 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 with no success. I once managed to connect to it, after I unplugged my router, and connected lan cable to modem.

so any ideas how to connect?

What modem are you talking about that you connected to? That router is a modem/router, no extra modem required. That unit connects directly to the phone line (no filter for the router), and the LAN cable connects to the computer.

Do that, make sure you power cycle the router, boot the computer, and post this.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
