I think I have made a very big mistake!!!

I was looking around the BIOS, trying to find something, when I spotted something like “Load High Performance Defaults.” I decided to try this and got a warning that something bad might happen, but curious, I decided to go ahead. I wish I had not as now the computer won’t even POST. All I get is a black screen. I can’t get into the BIOS to reverse my actions. The only positive thing I can report is that there was no sparks, smoke, or unusual odors coming from the computer. The motherboard is an MSI K7N2.

Any ideas out there?

Boy am I embarrassed.

All you need to do is to clear your CMOS. There should be a jumper on your mobo to do that. If you don't know where it is, them remove the battery for about 15 seconds and then put it back. That should set your bios back to all the original default settings.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It did work and I'm now setting up the BIOS, this time using the K7N2's User's Guide which I should have gotten out before I made that stupid choice.
