Well I have officially fried my computer speakers that I currently have by spilling water into the port on the front, and it was unfortunate that it was the speaker which also had the amplifier in it. So now all i get after giving them a sufficient amount of time to dry out, all i am getting is a loud hum. I currently have these speakers:

I now believe I should look for new speakers as these current ones are probably fried, so now I would like a 2.1 system by logitech or another good brand as I had plans to upgrade when I do my case mod in the summer but I guess I might as well do something now.
I would like it if I could have some recommendations on good 2.1 systems that can be bought in a store like future shop and best buy. My budget for these would be around 50- 70 Canadian dollars.
