Computer sound available but not working

So I was playing Fallout New Vegas on my laptop and out of the blue, the game went completely silent. I reset my computer and then realized that I had no audio output device installed on my computer. I went to my device manager and checked the sounds section and it turns out that I do have an audio device (the one the computer came with). I can update it, disable it, and uninstall it like usual, it just won't show up as an audio output. I tried doing all 3 options to no avail and I wanted to try to see if I can get some virtual tech support before I headed to Best Buy or someplace to see if they can fix it. Thank you

You have THIS Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15IWL Machine Type Model 81MV0001US Laptop
It was purchased in December 2019 and came with Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

It has a Realtek high definition audio device, but it's not appearing in your Device Manager, so Windows 10 is not detecting it.
That's why your laptop isn't emitting any sound.

Click the "Troubleshooting" link, then click the "Audio and Microphone" link, then click "Microphone, Speakers, and Headphones", then click "No sound from speaker".
Read the information there and follow the instructions and see if that helps.

If it doesn't help, try installing the driver for the Realtek audio device.
You can download the driver from HERE.
Download and save it, then double-click it to start the install process.
