Computer keeps restarting in safe mode after reinstalling XP

I tried to reinstall Windows XP (XPprofessional instead of XPhome), and all went well untill my computer had to restart for setup. When the computer restarted I got the message: "Windows XP setup cannot run under Safe Mode, Setup will restaret your computer"
(I think I should have done the XP installation in the normal mode, shouldn't I)
But even when I choose "Start up in Normal configuration"(or something like that)in the Windows Advanced Option Menu, while restarting, It starts up in the safe mode.
So now my computer KEEPS RESTARTING IN SAFE MODE

Please Help me!!

Be sure when your computer restarts you have your CD drive set as your first boot device. And then press the key to boot from the CD when it tells you to.
