my computer keeps on freezing...i have no idea why...it happens like right when i go back on the computer after not being on it for a few minutes...when i move the mouse, it will just freeze...no idea why

any help would be much appreciated

Disable all screen savers, "standby" and "hibernate" options. Sounds like it is going comatose when waking.

noo but it freezes even when theres not a screen saver up yet...do you think spyware can cause this?

There is a good possibility that spyware is the problem: run ad-aware and spybot, see what you come up with.

also..when ad-aware gives me the list of "dangerous" files and whatnot...am i supposed to delete them all?

Yes, remove all spyware you are given the option to. Go ahead and place your hijack-this after you scan and remove with both programs.
