Hello everyone. This is my very first post and i really need your help.
My PC was doing fine running WIN98se until one day it just wont boot. It POST just fine with the one beep which tells me the POST was ok but just freezes at the "verifying DMI pool data". I tried booting with a boot diskette but the PC still just stops at "verifying DMI pool data". If only i could start it in the DOS prompt, perhaps i could trouble shoot it. Anybody have a suggestion?
I did not install any new hardware or software. I also cannot go to the startup menu by holding down the Ctrl or the F8 key at startup since the PC just stops at the "verifying....."
