I used Painter to get the Kaleidoscope tile and then used PhotoImpact to put the tiles together.

The Kaleidoscope in Painter is really cool the way it works because you can pick the tile size and then it make a layer over your image and you can then just move it around real easy to see the effects. Also you can hide the main image so you only see the Kaleidoscope layer.

Here is one I did with XenoDream to make the ball thing. The background in Bryce and the colors added to it in PhotoImpact.

See others at Webshots in the effect album in the My Picture link below.
They are 800x600 but are all over 300KB

Well the main thing is for 3D landscaping but there are 1000's and 1000's of things you can download to add to it. So you can move indoors and have what ever.
Just play around with it. Here is a site you need to bookmark. http://www.brycetech.com/index.html
You can go tru the Tutorials there.

Hello RT
"Fresh Water Shark", Most vicious apparently.

Quote: "Did you add the moon to that shot as well".
The photo is made from 2 scans of photos I took a few years ago. The deer is imported and the background with the moon was taken with a 300 mm lens plus a 2 x converter.

gerryx, yup, awesome lens! When I was shooting 35mm the longest lens I had was a 200mm with a 2x converter. I wish I still had it and that it would fit my digital camera. Wihout breaking it.
When you started this thread I knew it wasn't to be about switching heads on a family portrait. Mine are not much more than that, but you did use the terms 'composite' and 'doctoring.' :)

hewee, to be fair&square, 'tain't my back yard. It's the same shark fishing granddaughter(to left) with her clan making a flowerbed or an extention of the play area - I forget which.
The skeleton is real, but it doesn't belong in that photo (neither does the bottle on the deck  ) it's a pic I searched for on the net to use for "doctoring" when the idea came to me. I made a composite of these two images (attached) with PhotoImpact 4.
As to whose closet the remains finally ended up in, I have no comment.
