Comp Freezes for couple seconds then goes black..then goes normal

My computer freezes for 3-6 seconds then goes black, after about a second it goes back to normal.

This happens ALL the time its very frustrating..about 30seconds to 2min between freezes

Anyone ever experiance this or no why its doing this???

hrmm.. could be a number of things.. maybe a bad power supply, bad video card.. try booting into safemode and see if it still does it, if not, then its a driver issue, if so, then its a hardware issue..

to boot into safe mode, you hit the F8 key after the POST, before the windows splash screen..
