 I clicked ALL fonts to get a count Re: how many there were (are). When I went to close, I had to close each one individually = took about 15
minutes. SOmewhere I read that there is a short cut way to close several files or programs all open by clicking 1 or 2 keyboard keys and then clicking on close. Does anyone know what that shortcut is?
It was a real nuisance to have to click the X for each and every font.
thanks............. missfuffy.

It has been a long time since I have used it, and when I did use it, I didn't use XP yet.

When you close out the window by clicking the red X in the upper right hand corner, you press and hold either the Ctrl or Shift key. I think it was the Ctrl key. Doing so will close all windows that were opened in that way (ex. all your font windows) all at once.

I hope that trick still works with XP. I haven't had to use it in a long time.
