Chrome Fixed on Italic text

I was using google chrome today and when I launched my browser at some point the text was all italic and I could not understand why.

I have go into settings > web content> customize fonts and the "Sans-Serif Font" is Arial (which is default) however it is italic and there is no option to change it?

On my other computer I have go into the same settings and the "Sans-Serif Font" is Arial but it is not italic and I have no idea how I have changed it.

I have tried to re install chrome with a clean sweep, use extensions, reset my browser and nothing works.

Any Help please?

Hello, since reinstalling did not fix it, the issue may be with your machine. It seems that this is a long running problem with Chrome, but have a look at this thread and see if it can help somehow:
