Change Folder View?

I want to change the folder view so whenever I open a folder.. no matter where it is I will have the 'folders' view in the left column and the files displayed in list view in the right column. How do I do this to all folders in one go instead of to one at a time?

When looking at a folder arranged the way you want it, go to Tools menu ->Folder Options->"View" tab -> and click button that says "Apply to All Folders"
